Kristen was a normal, happy, girl. Until high school came around and the bullies targeted her, they called her names and never took the time to get to know her. The only person she could trust at the school was her best friend, Tristen, who always seemed to be around for her no matter what. She started self harming, starting with one blade, only cutting on her legs, then that all changed when she lost her parents in a car accident, things took a turn for the worse. The cuts got deeper, her depression got darker and her blade collection got bigger. Can someone save Kristen from herself before it's too late?
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
