Senior year of high school. The most exciting (and anxiety filled!) time for your average teenager. The time when all of us have to prepare to leave the nest of our comfortable little homes and head off into the big, scary world. I used to be excited about leaving high school. Even my senior year book quote was "Thank fucking god it's almost over." But that was before I knew all the facts. What facts would I have needed to know, that would change my perspective so much? Well, let me tell you; there were a lot of fucking facts I would have loved to have known in advance.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

Discovering My Mythical Fate Book 1
What if I told you that the things from our stories an Book 1d myths are 100% real and I have to save them? Crazy right? Trust me I know but it's true no matter how much I wish it wasn't. I thought I was just a normal 21 year old girl... Weeks after my classes let out I found out that had never been true. I had never been normal, I'd just been hidden away from the world, the real me hidden from even myself to keep me safe but more importantly alive so I could defeat the FIRST, the original, the one that made all other supernatural things, fantastic right? I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.Complete

After my escape, and yet another but brutal last year at the same high school, my school sent me their condolences and made sure to inform my future college of my past. I didn't bother to say goodbye to my "friends" or Preston, my ex. The police allowed me to change things, including changing my name & hair, but other than that, I was still me. Once I got my new identity, I tried to start anew. Moving me to a new place was the best thing the police and Dr Matthews allowed me to do, but it still didn't stop this nudging feeling that kept coming over me. I don't know why, but for some reason, I could tell that my kidnapper (Mr Blue) was going to come back for me. --- On the two year anniversary since my abduction, the past comes back to haunt me. The only thing that's changed is that I'm not the only one on his Hit List. My friends are too. I was finally happy after what happened to me during my junior year of high school. Three amazing people helped me find my way, and I wasn't about to lose them to the same person who abducted me little under two years ago.
