Both Andrew & Akko have a weird and complicated relationship with eachother. They don't know how to feel about eachother... 
It all started when Akko had saved Earth from Croix's missile. Andrew saw how heroic Akko really was and started to feel different. 
As for Akko she likes Andrew back but is confused about Andrew's feelings towards her.. Since you know Andrew has many "fangirls" now and when he was a child. 
Soon Akko finds out Andrew has a girlfriend and will be getting married.. But Akko feels as if his girlfriend is hiding something...
