Maize Elton, and Newt Pellengrino never took second glances at each other crossing the halls. They were both just faces in the crowd to each other. Neither payed much attention to each other.

Maize is one of those Loners in high school. she doesn't do too well in social situations in the first place, everyone seems to always want to talk to her,but are a bit intimidated for the type she was in middle school. Which was a violent person , Maize calmed herself over the years so much so that she was unreadable making everyone wonder what she's thinking all the time.

Newt being the opposite of Maize he jokes with people from time to time , he's a generally loud outgoing person. So everyone wants to be around him.

When Newt becomes confronted by Maize as he's bullying another student , he seems to feel a sense of comfort in her stern, cold , yet soft voice .
