As Dylan, Elena, and Alaric search for Stefan, Stefan does something to Dylan to make her stop looking for him, but Dylan doesn't stop until she gets her brother back. But by doing so there seems to be a shift of feelings between Dylan and Elena. Dylan knows it's wrong to feel this way about Elena, but as she tries to make her move on from her, she stops her as she thinks about Stefan and she doesn't want to hurt him. So, she pushes her feelings aside to get her brother back. But when Elena feels some sort of attraction for Dylan, she doesn't know what to think as she tries to figure out her feelings for between the Salvatore siblings as she knows she has to pick one but she doesn't want to lose one of them. While Dylan deals with her feelings for Elena, she tries everything she can to save her best friend, Alaric as he's turning into something dark that can kill an Original, but the gang just don't know which Original they're link to, they just hope it's not Klaus's.
