After Mable and Dipper left Gravity Falls Oregon, their memories of the horrific mysteries of the town began to slowly fade and feel less real. They now reached high school and realized what Wendy meant when she said it was a living hell. But their visits to Gravity Falls grow less and less, and they finally begin to leave the mysterious and thrilling life they had behind them, convincing themselves the whole thing was nothing but dreams and child imagination.

But it's not as easy as it seems to stop believing in gnomes, fairies, gobblewonkers and dream demons as it seems. Especially for Mason 'Dipper' Pines who longs for nothing more then one more thrilling adventure to enjoy himself once more like he did as a kid and to prove that what he thought happened that summer was real. But what happens when Dipper gets his wish and an old friend comes to visit, turning their finally normal and boring life into a second weirdmageddon?
