Everyone usually says, "First loves NEVER last long. Consider it as the first warning of your love life. It's never meant to be." People still believe that statement. To Hannah that's not true for some people. Well, at least it wasn't until after she met Evan Conley. He is the captain of the soccer team and many girls are obssessed over his good looks while guys worship his brain and skils. But, he has never liked anyone. Hannah Fuller is an average girl who hates attention and has never liked anyone. He's 17, she's 16. Remember the saying that "total opposites attract?" Yeah, Hannah totally disagrees. He's the snobby and arrogant type that likes to brag about his achievements. Hannah's the quiet and cautious type who hates those who are egotistical. After some devastating news, Hannah goes to Boston and ends up living under the same roof with him! Tension grows, jealousy intervenes, and feelings arrive. What exactly will there be in store for these two first-timers?

"Are you ever afraid of being alone?" I asked after a while. A question that had randomly popped into my mind. I wasn't expecting him to answer me, but he did. Jonah turned his face, but I didn't look back at him, I kept staring up at the skies. He turned back to the sky and took a breather before answering. "We're always going to be alone, Rose. Always. We'll be haunted by the darkness that is our own shadow, but in every shadow there's a light." He answered, as if the simplest thing in the world. I only stared at him with a dropped jaw. That was out of this world. Especially coming from Jonah. "When does it get better?" I mumbled. "It doesn't. But to go through it with someone makes it a whole lot easier." He turned back to face me. We stared at each other for a while. He'd always occasionally look down at my lips, and I'd do the same to him. I broke it off and looked back up at the sky. -=- New York City. The place of opportunities. But what shall Rose do when there's so many of them? Jonah, the seducer with a British accent, or Cameron, equally British but sweet. Her clock is ticking. She has one year to make up her mind until the exchange program takes back all their Brits and their New Yorkers return. And so the end-of-the-year party is the final strike. Either Rose chooses...or she doesn't. *WARNING* I began this book (my first book ever) when I was like 11 or 12 years old so the first chapters (idk how many) suck, not gonna lie. I had scrapped so many ideas (that I only really wrote a few chapters of) that when I was older enough to realize the story I had going so far sucked, I didn't want to scrap again, so I finished for that sake in a span of 3 years (and ended in 2014). All in all, not my greatest work, but read on if you wish. Text Copyright © droppedintoxic™ 2014

Wattpad Creator! Happy and proud. HIM: Staying the night? Not my thing. Hearts and flowers? Boring. Falling in love? Not anytime soon. Settling down? Off the table. Getting married? You're kidding me, right? That was me before the night we first met. Because, well, meeting a hot chick that made me hard just by looking at her was definitely not in my plans when I sneaked out of a woman's apartment after what was already a long night. Taking her home and getting her a chocolate cake, though, was kind of intentional. But falling for her? Boy, that was pretty much inevitable. HER: He came out of nowhere, literally. I was there, sitting on that bench, barefoot and crying and just getting my heart broken in peace and silence. Then he appeared, all mad and furious and sexy and tall and just drool-worthy! And just like that, despite my poor attempts of escaping him, he had me wrapped in his world. A crazy yet heart-fluttering world, that I have absolutely no intentions of leaving anytime soon. ------- Character development is a main theme in this book. It shows you how they both work on changing for the better, while trying to overcome the obstacles in their relationship and fight for each other till the end. ** Warning!! Some chapters contain sexual scenes, but there's always a warning at the head of the chapter. Do not read them if you're under 18.** * Also, please beware that this story contains a lot of swearing. This is all so confusing, but in another sense, it's the only thing that makes sense." ~*~ At age ten, Mackenzie Elle Servet didn't think that there was anything with Ashton Jacob Lotest. "You know you still want me." he said cockily. "As if!" I yelled at him. "I must say, I like the new look." he all but smirked. ************************** Alex was the shy, quiet nerd that nobody talked to. Although, she was shy at school she was quit loud, crazy , and pretty sarcastic. She just thought that nobody at school was worth her time. Damien was your typical cocky jock. He had the girls, the 'followers', and he was the captain of the soccer team. Now, you're probably wondering how they both fit in to the story. Well, they used to date. It just didn't end well. So, Alex now hates Damien. For the reason that he stole her heart and that he is, as she put it, "an egotistical asshole". ============================= Ok. So this is my first story I don't know how it will turn out. So, please comment and tell me how you think it's going. Oh and mild language.
