Jesse Custer is a Preacher in the small town of Annville, Texas, but he is more than that. He is also an ex-outlaw, a certified bad ass, and host to one of the most powerful entities in all of creation. He's planning to use this power to save his town.
Aura Lording is from a small town in Georgia, and she's on a road trip to find her father. On the way through Texas, she gets jumped by a group of men and mortally wounded. Aura shows up at All Saints' Congregation for help. The last words on her lips was 'Genesis' before dying.
