Dear Reader,

How amazing is it to write a letter! To pick up a pen or pencil and scramble down all of your thoughts. To stain the blank white piece of paper with ink. To tuck your letter into an envelope and sign the information on the cover. To stamp it and send it on it's way to - wait.

No.

Cross off that last part.

I won't be sending these letters to their destination. Because there isn't a destination. The letters written in this book have never been sent, or read by any other human being. Until now.

Dear Darling

Josephine wrote a letter. She wasn't planning to get a response, she addressed it with a random address and sent it through the mail. She didn't think that it would go to someone's home. She didn't think anyone would read it. And she certainly didn't think anyone would respond.
