Violette has what everyone calls a ''perfect life'', which includes a family everyone envies. Her mother was born and raised in the beautiful city of LA, California, giving her her ''Spicy'' personality and temper, her Paris, France descendent father to who she owes her one-of-a-kind looks, and her Texan influence of an older sister, Lilly, who is the only person in the family, other than her mom, which she shares her american nationality with.
In her hometown of Houston, Texas, along with her sister, she shares the dream of finding a treasure her Abuelita (Grandmother) has always talked about. One that her ancestres had all been dying to find. Each generation of the family had advanced in the process of deciphering different codes that left clues to where to find this valuable trasure. They then translated these original clues into hints only the right people would understand, so as to not let the treasure in the wrong hands, where it would be lost forever.
When one of Violette's bestest friend falls in the always tightening grip of a forever feared illness that leads to possible death, she finds herself forced to find the treasure more than ever, while not letting her growing rivalry with a childhood enemy get in the way, all while trying to forget the little crush she has always had on the school's bad boy, that may or may not feel the same way towards her.
Does she find the treasure?
Will she save her friend?
Shall her rivalry get in the way?
Does her crush like her back?
Find out in...
