As a child Theseus watched as his city burned in dragon fire. As the smoke cleared and the bodies were counted, he decided to never again allow the flaming menace destroy his life. Alongside his father, a former officer of the imperial army, Theseus hunts the creatures that marred his childhood.

Authors Note: 
The story of Theseus and the dragon-slayers is a prequel / prologue my main work Dragon Magic. (Which will not be posted here unless something drastic manages to convince me otherwise.) It is intended to be either a short story or novella, not a full length novel. (But I have a habit of making things very verbose so we'll see what the final word count ends up as.
