It's claimed that a kittypet's life was easy. All one needed to do is sleep all day, a food and shelter provided by one's Housefolk. But Angel didn't enjoy that kind of life. She wanted to explore the forest, hunt, feel a bit of excitement, adrenaline, a bond. But all she got from the Twolegplace were ridicules and mocking from the other kittypets, judging her for preferring to drink from rain puddles instead of water bowls, play in the forest rather than nap beneath the sun, pretend to hunt rather than just eat her pellets.
