Fras has always been the odd one out.

He's never felt at home anywhere. He's just drifting through life, doing whatever he feels like and simply doesn't care.

But that all changes after a night goes terribly wrong and then he wakes up in another world - A world where everything is far from ordinary. Things are more dangerous in this other world, that's for sure. So now he's got no choice but to wake up, because daydreaming is just going to get him killed.

He has no clue where he is, but he can't stop. Dying is not an option. Not for him or anybody else. He doesn't know how he can survive in this world of darkness.

"Nobody can hurt me without my permission." - Mahatma Gandhi.

******************************
Filled with filthy darkness, the walls of
The castle stomped out the hopes.
As the sky chocked in it's own sea of blood
The boy opened his heart to the winds
And began to pick up the fallen
Petals that screamed out for someone.
With his chest now opened, he slowly
Gathers each flower
To hold onto tightly in his warm hands.

"Have you come here to die?" The voice was a bare whisper against the enveloping dark. It sounded stark and cold, with nothing in offer linked to safety. Yet, it brought me comfort of great proportions. ♛ ♛ ♛ In the dark wintry recesses of Baneberry Lane where the sun seems to set earlier than the rest, troubled passion blankets the streets. Known as the Valley of The Shadow of Death by the commoners for the dangerous folk it harbors. There's a house at the corner of the street underneath the pavement where a lone mollyboy stays with his dying mother with no inclination to trouble, save the knife he carries for protection. Brinley knows people look at him when he walks the districts. He sees the disgust in their eyes, he understands. The same dysphoria follows him everytime he looks at his body. Being born a girl, with a girls body and a girls voice took nothing from him knowing he was a boy. So he carries on, deepening his voice and binding his chest. Hoping one day, the misgendered notions would drop and people see him. Finn was born into wealth. Yet, the one thing he wants is the one thing he can never have. It's the secret he keeps against his family. Being attracted to the same sex is seen as a passing moment or a hankering in one's life. Finn knows that sex in his world is never followed by anything as absurd as love. So he carries on, still he craves and late at night, his desires take over him and he imagines what his life would feel like if he dropped all the pretenses. They could only shatter each other's worlds. ♚ ♚ ♚ Note: This is a short story set before the timeline of "Arsenic." "I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. And that's the day I realized, I have a faint crush on my best friend. <><><><><< THIS BOOK IS BEING *MAJORLY* EDITED. Love... Not Romance [BoyxBoy]

36 parts Complete

Everything started the night before we moved out of our town. I decided to take a late night swim at the lake I love the most. It was sort of a goodbye, a way to somehow wash the pain brought about by my parents' divorce, but then he appeared. As I was floating in the lake, watching the moon and the stars, I heard a noise in the water, and as I turned my head, I saw this guy drowning. I saved him, I brought him back to life, and then... I kissed him and fell in love with him. Things changed after that one stolen kiss. I ran away, and I never thought that I would see him once again, but I did. Little did I know that the moment we meet again, my life would never be the same. This is a story, of how I learn what love really is, of how I came to accept it, of how I came to fight for it. This is not a story about romance. It's way more than that. This is a story where love, family, and little bit of mystery collides. This is a story about my love.
