Falling in love was not to be expected and neither was getting hurt along the way, but life had a funny way of working. [Not the funny ha-ha kind of way.] Every single day, all that was Luke invaded my entire being over and over again: his eyes seemed to bore into mine; his smile held my heart and refused to let go; his hair seemed to taunt my hands into tousling it and playing with it; his hands were soft and smooth; his embrace was warm and full of the-four-letter-word.
His entire existence completed me. Just him.
My heart not only skips a beat like in those cliched stories, but it also cracks into minuscule pieces; I tried putting my heart back together, but it seems I can't because I'll just end up bleeding love all over again. Neither can I give my heart to someone else when it's being held captive by Luke. I just wished he was there to catch me when I fell for him. Unrequitted. That's most probably the only way I can describe this love I have for Luke.

dear Crystal, I've always loved you, I've always been in love with you even though you never knew. I never got the chance to tell you. I was only gone for 3 months over the summer, why did you stop talking to me, why did you pretend that I didn't exist? I stared into his dark eyes and l saw a complete stranger. I couldn't recognise the person he had become. The eyes that once sparkled with unbridled joy were now a cold,empty and emotionless pit. The teenage boy l once knew six years ago was gone. The boy who once couldn't stand to see me hurt in any way. The same boy who had kissed me as if his next breath depended on me. I blinked back tears as l stared into his unrecognizable eyes. I had made him that way. My betrayal had killed something inside him. I quickly fixed my hair and make up, when I went to find Luke he was not there where I left him last.I started looking for him, he was nowhere to be found. I almost searched the whole school, when I was passing by the music room I heard muffled voices so I just stepped in the room and who knew my whole world would fall apart...there in front of me was Luke kissing Rose... I guess Luke heard me walking in because he opened his eyes but rose unaware about me was still kissing Luke. I couldn't take it anymore I turned away, my back to him and ran...I ran and ran making my way out of the school, every step I took was a dagger to my heart...because each step which I took was a step away from Luke.... my Luke .I rushed inside my home into my bedroom and finally collapsed on bed crying my heart out...that's it... I couldn't stay here anymore knowing that my Luke was no more mine...I had to go somewhere away from here. If I stayed here any longer these memories which I had with Luke would haunt me...so with my decision made...
