Baseball Girl (A Sandlot love story)

Alex Jacobs and her step brother, Scotty Smalls, are the new kids in town. Scotty's main goal - to make friends before the summer ends. All Alex wants to do is protect her little brother. Somehow, the town's best baseball player, Benny Rodriguez, befriends Scotty, taking him under his wing. Slowly, the boys start to grow on her, one in particular catching her eye. All is well until something terrible happens. An important item lands on the other side of the fence that stands at the back of the sandlot. The problem - on the opposite side of that fence lives the Beast, whom the kids inevitably must deal with.
