Like Friends Do
Midoriya and Todoroki are similar in the sense that neither of them had real "friends" growing up. Midoriya was an easy target for bullies, being Quirkless; Todoroki pushed away friendship at his father's wishes for him to train with his Quirk. If some of their behaviors are a little more than friendly, neither of them have stopped to notice - or perhaps to care. A.K.A. the one where they shamelessly toe the line between platonic and romantic. Originally posted on AO3!!Complete
