Everyday is a struggle for her and just getting out of bed is a success. She meets Zach, a bad boy with a bad reputation. He starts off as a tutor, just to help her out, out of pity. But eventually feelings get involved and Abigail finds herself liking a boy for the first time in her life. Things get serious and she somehow learns about his drug dealing business. I'm just ordinary. If anything, I'm less than everybody else. I let that get me down sometimes, I just can't help but criticize my over hanging stomach, and my flat chest, and my touching thighs, and my butt chin... Anxiety gets me bad. My older sister Olivia is what keeps me going. We're best friends. She's the most amazing person I know! She just loves everyone and sees past my flaws. I can tell her anything and everything. She'll listen. I guess I should mention she's autistic. It's not very bad. She's pretty much like everyone else. Olivia's aware that she's different, but for some reason she wants to be normal. I think she's special. And that's good. She's not like those judgmental, greedy, self righteous, perfect people. I would never want her to change. For the last month I've had nothing but dark thoughts. I finally decided to speak to someone about it. I went to Mr.Harn and told him everything. All he did was hold me and bring me to the schools councilor. He told her the story I was able to utter. She called my mother and arranged for me to be put into therapy. I spoke with her for half an hour. "You've been through way to much for a girl your age!" She said in astonishment. "I know." I replied. "How are you alive?" She asked with both worry and curiosity. "In my 19 years of life I never really experienced anything worth telling a story about. Usually when something exciting happened to me, which was rare, I'd sum up the key parts and move on. But then I died, and I finally had a story worth talking about. Anyway, how I died isn't too exciting. Just a basic car accident. You know, icy roads, snow coming down hard, a car slides into your lane and then boom. You're standing in the street watching some guy trying to shake you alive and all you can think is, "Damn, I'm dead." Although, I'm sure you've never experienced that, or else I'd be telling you this story face to face. Anyway, that guy begging me to wake up, he's pretty important, remember him.
