They say, when life gives you a second chance you should live it to the fullest but I never did. Being the eldest daughter of my family, I was bound with responsibility that I never asked for. And what did I get in return? Loneliness. Do I deserve it? A hundred percent yes. Life was bearable when I was in highschool, I fell in love with a man. He was completely different from me. He used to laugh more often unlike me, help everyone, and was the diamond of everyone's eye. He loved me a lot, making sure I was safe until one day I broke him, I broke him to an edge where I assume nothing could fix him. Heartbreak is what I gave him in return for his love, care and support. I thought Vihaan Suryawanshi would change after how badly I broke every part of his soul. To my surprise, he stayed the same-except for me. He showed me how cruel he can be for the girl he once loved unconditionally. And yes, I deserve every bit of it. I shattered his heart and now those shattered pieces are piercing my soul. V I H A A N I am trying my best to cope up with everything including my life. Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. I had this idea last night after a few drinks, a pounding headache, and an excessive amount of throat lozenges. In order to inspire me to write more often than I currently do, I am planning to write a new post every day and publish it, allowing me to rant about whatever is on my mind. Anything goes with this story. Maybe I will talk about something deep and metaphysical about the meaning of human existence, or rant about why my life sucks and how I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Anything goes. This is just an inspiration to allow me to write SOMETHING every single day of the year. Hopefully I can keep up.... If I end up deleting this story, I guess you'll know that I failed.
