Luck seems to be at the opposite side of Alex Garcia. Born without a father figure, Alex believes his life is one perfect harmony, even with some bad twists and turns and without a dad to count on, he believes that having the best of friends and money would give him happiness.
That is, until it was all taken away from him. His mother still had some contact with his father, who is now a successful businessman and has a second wife. They talked about Alex's future.

I ran downstairs into the living room, my heart pounding as I found all my brothers gathered around Nefeli. Her eyes were frantic, scanning the room, desperately searching for me.
