Roughly 10 decades has passed since the Calamity destroyed Earth, soaking it in radiation and presumably wiping out all living things on its surface. Now four people find themselves in vastly different situations, and they all just woke up. (figuratively and literally)

Woken up from merely just existing to 'preserve' the human race, in confinement, and woken up from the nightmare of society.

One. Earth Born and related to those who survived the Calamity and continues to live on the ground as she has her whole, young life.
One has lived in a submarine all his life, and is the 4th generation of his people has now been washed ashore.
One has lived in space on a station, but has now has decided to escape, and has crashed to Earth on an old escape pod, alone.
One has been underground in a machine that has kept her alive, but in Cryosleep. Her along with a dozen others.

They will find each other, and... well that's as far as I've gotten plot wise, but hey! I'll think of something! Tell me what you guys think! :D

[UPDATE)
Okay I just wanted to say that I have an UNHEALTHY AMOUNT of ideas for this series, however writing them is a very daunting task, haha.
I am still working on this project so don't give up on me!
I know this though; this series will have everything you love about the post-apocalyptic genre (survival, science fiction, adventure...) with a healthy dose of mystery and romance too!!

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. My Dear Reader Rebecca by philpw99

What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens? Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine. I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block. I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best. Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly... ...... This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship. It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words. Disclaimer: Everything here is fake, never happened and completely fabricated by my wild imagination. The story has nothing to do with Wattpad or any website, because seriously, nothing is real here. If someone happens to have a similar experience, that's just coincidence. Copyrights of Becca Franco, Bill Cadogan and "The 100" TV series belongs to The CW Network.

"I wanted to remind him of the night we cleared things out. He has all the right to fear especially that we're deviating from the norm. But what is really considered normal? Men before us were in this kind of relationship already. The Romans knew about it. What changed that made our situation different from before? Society has a way of being funny. Evolution has a play in this part. Homosapiens eliminated their previous counterparts in fear of extinction. Not knowing that they were the product of the latter. I wondered who spread this way of thinking about same sex relationships. I'm not quiet sure it was religion. Could it be the opposite sex? In fear that reproduction can be halted? Or could it be a propaganda by a corporation who feared that there would be fewer consumers of their product due to our preferences. We can only wonder." -Phawin We know Dean and Pharm had made a promise to live together after both graduates and get married in New York. We know Del and Alex, as well as, Manaow and Pruk got together. But how about Win and Team? What will become of them after? What's their plan? What does the future have in store? Do they have a plan or would they keep on just whinging it. Ever wondered what happened between them? Between us? Let's try and look into the possibilities.. How do you move on? Are you able? Where you able? If you don't want to get hurt, If you don't want to ruin yourself, Even a little further.. Please move on. But if you dare and wanted to know, Then continue. 30 parts Complete
100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)
