For camp NaNoWriMo in April I decided to write seven short stories each one set later in history and with an older main character than the one before. Some of these stories have worked very well I think and others less well but I'm offering then all here with only basic editing. 1. Hair the colour of the dawn - A story of Viking America based on an Icelandic saga seen from both a European and a native American point of view. 3. Undiscovered talents - In Victorian England a young woman finds that she can challenge men in a way that surprises them. 4. Love letters - Set in the present day a man makes a discovery in the aftermath of his father's funeral. 5. Neighbours - Millions of people live in one huge building but hardly ever see their neighbours. A chance meeting can change someone's life. 6. Running to stand still - On semi - terraformed Callisto you have to keep moving to stay under the Sun or the freezing night will catch you. 7. Rock of Ages - Billions of years from now the expanding Sun has nearly engulfed the Earth. Explorers look for a treasure left behind after the Exodus.Complete

Weird... that's one word. A rather rude one, but it was the right one to describe me. Or delusional, considering I want to be a hero, but my quirk is so useless. Izuku had a very... dark mindset. When he first met his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo, he started dragging him into his schemes. Inko didn't mind much, brushing it off as the creative mind of a young boy. She was a supportive mother, so she let him do a lot of things other kids couldn't- -No, he wasn't allowed to do drugs, get your mind outa the gutter. Hell, at the crisp age of 10 he was allowed to go outside at night, alone. All he needed was his phone, his location on, and to come back before 9:30. One night, she was in his room, helping him clean it, when she found a rat corpse he put in a jar. She screamed so loud the neighbors came to check on the two. Izuku said it was his special little friend he found on a walk, so she let him keep it. That's most likely one of the reasons he's being bullied. "Oi, Deku. Whatcha thinking about this time? Do you wanna hit the teacher and put his kinda in a jar?" Katsuki taunted. Izuku only looked up and him, rolling his eyes. "Don't be silly," he started, making Katsuki's underling heart race. "His lungs would be too big to fit in a jar. I'd need a larger container, like a-" "You're so fuckin weird!"

Most of them are very competitive by nature, so you can only guess how extreme it gets. When Izuku pushes a little to far with his childhood friend, Bakugou, their classmates call it quits and they all head to bed. As Izuku makes his way to his dorm, Bakugou stops him. He says he'll do it, because he's not a 'fucking chicken', but only if Izuku agrees to continue the game... As the game gets more heated, so do their everyday lives. Between the seemingly constant fighting and someone with dangerous feelings towards Izuku, will the two be able to get past all of that and finally be friends... or maybe more? ************************* I let out a defeated sigh. "Fine, but you still have to compliment me ya know. That's not going to be an easy task for you." I said with a big smile. There's no way he could do. "Oi, shut up! I can totally do the dare, even if there isn't a whole lot of good stuff about you." He mumbled the last part. I gasped at him. "Rude!" I exclaimed. "Just shut up so I can think!" He growled at me. I sighed, but complied. He thought in silence for a minute or two, just looking into my eyes. I was actually afraid he'd zoned out or maybe fallen asleep with his eyes open or something. An AU where quirks don't exist. Model!Izuku Model!Katsuki Also is a story where Izuku is a smug bastard that Katsuki can't get out of his sorry head. (THERE WILL BE SMUT AT THE END.) ----- Katsuki grumpily made his way out of the fitting room, his usual fiery aura keeping his co-workers at bay as he trudged to the set, a place where they will be photographing him and his unknown partner for a magazine-cover project. He saw the usual green screen, the annoying flashy lights, and the signature camera sitting in front. Dread filled his senses. He just wanted to get to this shit, since he was passionate about his job. As he fast walked towards the man behind the camera (who was adjusting various lenses on it), he dodged the people in his way, side stepping them in a professional manner- until he bumped into someone who was a few inches smaller than him. About to yell at the person for being such a clumsy ass, his words suddenly got caught in his throat as he stared the shorter male down, subconsciously taking in his green curls and the dotted freckles on his face. The person looked up at him, rare green eyes glinting with wistfulness. He couldn't speak. He tried moving his lips, the sound coming out was between a growl and a cough. Fuck. Why couldn't he speak? "You know, you weren't supposed to see them." He dropped my arm. "Is that supposed to make me feel better?" He grabbed my other arm, exposing those cuts as well. Bloody bandages fell to the ground and his expression changed. "Is this supposed to make me feel better?!" He held both my arms in front of me. I could feel his hands shaking. I could hear his voice breaking. He was yelling, but I knew it was a facade. He wasn't angry. He was worried. He was sad. He just doesn't know how to express anything else. "It's fine. Don't worry. I'm okay." He dropped my arms and stepped back a bit, looking down for a few seconds. He yelled in frustration, pushing me to the ground suddenly. I avoided eye contact. "In what world?! What part of your fucked up mind is telling you that this is okay?! Because let me fucking tell you right now, if you ever fucking do this to yourself again I swear...." He punched the wall and yelled in frustration, taking a deep breath to calm himself. He paused for a few seconds before speaking again. "Get up." He held out his hand and I took it, standing up shakily. He grabbed my arms again, staring at them sadly. "Again? Why would you hide them again? Why this again?" He pled desperately. "You two." A different voice from across the hallway said, making us both jump a bit. Aizawa walked over to us, looking down at my cuts with slightly widened eyes, then back up at me with a concerned expression. "I need to talk to both of you."Complete

The sun was already setting down when he could finally get home, he didn't even have time to open the door before a pair of footsteps stopped behind him. The villain followed him. . .
