DISCLAIMER:

I should NOT be the person to criticize someone's dental hygiene. I have a significant amount of visible dental issues that I'm aware of. It's a flaw that I'm addressing and I know that it's not attractive. I wouldn't want to date the person that fantasizes about making out with a mouth full of rotting teeth. That's probably a fetish somewhere in this crazy world. I'm open minded, but I can't jump on the GGG bandwagon for that.

  That being said,

I recently dated someone with bad breath. His odoriferous breath wafted across the diner booth, while I ate my egg white omelette and because I thought he was cute and funny, I decided to ignore it and hope it was just an odor-off day for him.

We had several dates after that, and his malignant breath never improved. (I must be glutton for dragon's breath punishment.) Our short-lived romance ended for reasons other than bad breath. I'm feeling resentful and wounded, so I'd like to share the poem that he (and his breath) inspired.
