I made this book for my E.A project (It's like a senior project, but I did it as a junior). I have always listened to my mom's stories and I wanted to write it down onto paper. Please enjoy the retellings of Faye Lio's childhood.

This is a collection of short stories that can be independently read. A positive and honest recount. Postcards from the past, some bad some good. My mother's schizophrenia terrified me when she died it made an impact on my life. Writing this book is my chance to let it go of the pain and move on. I felt confusion, anger and fear as a child but now I am a mother myself I realise my mother was unable to help the way she was and that's so sad, that we never connected.
