A disabled Bokuto Koutarou meets a beautiful volleyball player named Akaashi Keiji. The boy "suffers" from an unknown and undocumented illness which results in many harmful symptoms. These symptoms include; inability to write, inability to hear or read, impulsive actions and use of verbal language, sensitivity to touch, and stuttering. Akaashi meets the disabled Bokuto and treats him as an equal, as a friend, and as a boyfriend.
