Shadowmen

Monty Morell is a teenage girl with a grudge. Her mother was killed in a shadowmen invasion. Shadowmen are people who have been killed by another shadow creature. Forced to live in the shadows trying to feed on the the living that dwell in the light. These creatures cannot survive in the light, so Monty lives in a city with walls surrounding her to keep the shadowmen out, but the biggest pain, is that this city is lit up all day and all night. The shadow hunters are the only people who are trained to kill these creatures and Monty wants to join their elite ranks.
