A semi-brief, 4 chapter fan story I wrote. Inspired and based off of my first impressions and feeling of the battle-royale video game H1Z1: King of the Kill. The story is set in first person, where the character is unwillingly thrown into an unknown area, with minimal supplies on hand, and a set of instructions inscribed in his mind: Run. Loot. Kill. Win.

(Temporary cover) In the wake of a devastating outbreak, the Heart siblings are torn apart, each thrust into a different world of chaos and survival. With no way to find one another, each sibling must navigate a dangerous new reality alone. Alice is the eldest: intelligent yet timid, struggling to find her place in a world that's lost all sense of safety. She finds herself in a group with familiar faces from school Elliot is the middle child: fiercely protective but quick to anger. After his parents turned against him in the worst way imaginable, he joins a a family group. Sofia is the youngest: a bubbly, kind-hearted soul who's always seen the best in people-now, trapped with a group of ruthless gang members, Sofia must cling to the light she's always carried, even if it feels like it's fading. Separated by the outbreak, the Heart siblings face unimaginable horrors, but one question haunts them all: Will they ever find each other again? Or will the world tear them apart for good? Trigger Warnings: blood, gore, sexual assault, abuse, child death Romantic pairings start in the second book Tropes throughout the series: - post apocalyptic world - sibling bond - found family - emotional angst - opposites attract There's a gxg ship. It's not obvious in this book because it wasn't the right book to give out hints to their romantic ship.
