Spring is happy being single and living her life to the fullest. Summer is also happy, but abuses her looks by playing the field and breaking people's hearts. Autumn is being forced into a relationship she had nothing to do with. Winter is beautiful but no one dares to come up to her, for she looks intimidating and cold on the outside. Each girl has her own problem to deal with, and when the season changes, so does every tree.

Hana loves poetry, but when she finds a poem hidden in a book at her bookstore that predicts a crime, she gets scared. The next day, the crime happens exactly as the poem said. More poems start to appear, each predicting something bad. Hana asks her best friend, Arif, for help. As they try to figure out who's behind the poems, Hana starts to feel something more for Arif. She wonders if she's writing the poems without knowing or if someone is trying to frame her. As they get closer to the truth, Hana and Arif's friendship starts turning into something deeper. Four beings rule the four seasons. Spring has her turn from March until June, restoring the flora that Winter had destroyed during his reign. After her comes Summer, who will control her season until September. She completely unveils the sun, having it beat down on everyone under it. Following her is Autumn. He takes the color from the leaves and sometimes puts it in his hair so Spring can have some dye to use for the leaves when it's her turn once again. Winter will have a grip on the planet for the rest of the calendar year starting in December, and continue on into the early months of the next year. He blows on the earth, covering it in snow and frost. Autumn and Spring were good friends; they've helped each other on several occasions.
