Following the story of a girl from district seven and a career boy from district two, the battle in the games is hard enough when knowing only one will survive, living to return home from in the arena. As alliances are served, they struggle with balancing morals and the desire to survive. The games bring out the hostility in some and the humanity in others, leaving the tributes to wonder if the versions of themselves broadcast from the arena are their true identities.....
