"The moon, it's so bright!" Kitty, my only friend, said when I snuck her on to my window sill. When I was a child the moon was my first everything.
My first love and wonder, my first dream and curiosity. The moon showed me so many things at night just from my window sill.
I never thought that the moon would betray me like this. Now I'm held against my will in a place where I can't see the moon. I'm forced to endever things that I never wanted to feel like.
The moon saved me by sending me a man who was the picture of God himself. "Mine" was all I heard when the master was done with me.

Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid. Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am. The Masquerade
Every year for the past hundred years, there has been a masquerade ball that was held where all wolves found their mates, in particular, Alpha Landon, a twenty-three year old that is the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack. He is feared by many and admired by most. His family are the richest and high in the council. Both of his parents met when they were younger here at this ball and then after he turned sixteen, he had hoped he'd find his mate but never did. And to go to the big masquerade ball that's being thrown. What she didn't expect, was for the guys cousin to be hot as hell. Not to mention, she will be the ONLY human at the ball and surrounded by werewolves for her friends hold a secret from her.
