"The moon, it's so bright!" Kitty, my only friend, said when I snuck her on to my window sill. When I was a child the moon was my first everything. My first love and wonder, my first dream and curiosity. The moon showed me so many things at night just from my window sill. I never thought that the moon would betray me like this. Now I'm held against my will in a place where I can't see the moon. I'm forced to endever things that I never wanted to feel like. The moon saved me by sending me a man who was the picture of God himself. "Mine" was all I heard when the master was done with me.

Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid. Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am. But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. I ran, not knowing what direction I was going. I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. Feeling a presence behind me I screamed and tried to crawl away...
