Tay and Tia are sister and brother. Tay is the eighteen year old legal guardian of his sixteen year old sister Tia and they stay in the projects of Houston. Tia struggles with the knowledge of Tay involved in gang activity and pleads desperately for him to leave it, knowing what the streets could do to people. Tay fights to support his sister by doing the only thing he knows how, he is determined to get out of the hood and make his sister proud. People will eventually see Cameron Martinez as a vigilante heroine, but it was never she who did those kind acts. She can't understand how they could think remarkably high of her when she merely wants to put food on the table. * Robbing gangs isn't smart, at all.
