Korra Waters is a college student in Republic College. She has a reputation for being a smart, quiet girl in class and dosen't socialize very often. She plays a guitar her mother gave her in 11th grade. Her father started abusing her after her parents divorced and found out she was the Avatar. Her mother lived in the South Pole with master Katara.

Asami is a orphaned, quiet rich girl who isn't how every person stereotypes her to be. She's nice, selfless, giving and graceful, not like the other rich girls she knew in Highschool. Her father was sent to prison after being a equalist to stop bending rights. Her mother died from firebenders when she was little. She hates benders cause of it, but not enough to stop people from using it. She just dosen't want to hang around them.

The two turn out to be roommates, and when Korra lies about being the Avatar, how will her newfound friend take it?
