After her Mother's sudden death, Cynthia and her younger brother Jamal are forced to move from the trenches of South-side Chicago, to the suburbs of Nevada. There, she meets an arrogant basketball player known as, Kelly Oubre Jr. When she discovers that he attends the same high school as her she's humble, as long as he minds his business and she minds her's there wouldn't be any problems right?

WRONG, Will Cynthia and Kelly learn to set their differences aside? Or will they continuously be petty towards each other?
