Writing advice columns wasn't something Ellery thought she would be doing in her high school years, but when an opportunity comes knocking, you have to answer it.

Ellery Shipp is your average high school student with an inconceivable secret. Not only is she the Harbinger, the anonymous-advice-telling-individual who helps give anyone who asks advice, but she doesn't believe in the term love for his own, very personal reasons.

What happens when someone tries to sabotage that belief? Tries to make her believe that love exists, that she is capable of loving and being loved?

Rowan Clark wasn't raised in a happy-go-lucky type of family with loving parents and hyper siblings. If anything, it was the complete opposite. Her mom died of cancer at a young age, her dad became abusive until he overdosed and died, her sister became deaf from her dad's beatings and she and Rowan were forced in a neglecting foster home until her sister became old enough to legally take action and move out.

Rowan has been through the ups, the downs, the lefts and rights of life, and knows how to pull through with the power of love.

When she meets Ellery and learns his belief, she's determined to make her feel what it's like to be loved.
