Anzu was unlike most girls her age. Rather than keep up with the latest styles or trends, she would rather immerse herself in different cultures. She would rather read a book from another country than participate in gossip or shopping.
By most standards, Anzu wouldn't be considered good looking. She could care less about makeup and shoes. As a result, Anzu never stood out to the male crowd, and was normally ignored by other females.

Until the day her new teacher gave the third year students a gag question.
Because of the way she answered it, she had suddenly perked the interest of quite a few people, including the two leading members of the volleyball club.
