After his previous visit to the human world, Reala informs his master, Wizeman The Wicked of the Equestrian Magic residing in there. Due to this, Wizeman has Reala take Rarity and transform her into one his servants. Under his control, Rarity steal the 7 Chaos Emeralds into the Dream world, forcing her friends to come after as they travel towards it. There, they go on a journey through the dreams aided by NiGHTS, a reformed Nightmaren against Wizeman

During this time, Tails and Cosmo grow close and feelings start to develop, as does a sisterly bond between Cosmo, Creecha's daughter Grace, and Wallflower Blush, but with the Metarex War going on and Cosmo's own insecurities surfacing after facing a lot of trauma, those bonds will be tested as they travel through space to end the war once and for all. As part of his plan to aid Dr. Robotnik in their shared adversary's suffering, Naugus the Dark tries his hand at finishing off the fallen adventurer, Sonic the Hedgehog, by enlisting the help of the Nightmare God, Wizeman the Wicked, to inflicted fatal psychological damage onto him. Wizeman agreed, putting Sonic in a hellish nightmare that nearly made him give up on himself and life. During the attack Y/n use the powers within the Chaos Emerald to protect a group of family by firming blue electricity all over the city and destroying all the bots within before he passes out due him using too much Chao energy. Now Y/n will join the Freedom Fighters as he will help them in their war while trying to figure out his past and what is his connections to the Chaos Emerald's.
