Tangled is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Loosely based on the German fairy tale "Rapunzel" in the collection of folk tales published by the Brothers Grimm, it is the 50th Disney animated feature film. Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy, the film tells the story of a lost, young princess with long magical hair who yearns to leave her secluded tower. Against her mother's wishes, she accepts the aid of a handsome intruder to take her out into the world which she has never seen.

Varian and the Seven Kingdoms (Varian's Seven Trials)
This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!! Rapunzel is hurt and needs to get away from her past. Her mother was an abusive single parent and her friends only found out about it when she was 18. Now out of her mother's evil hands Rapunzel lives in her best friend Merida's guest room. Although she has a loving boyfriend (Jack) and great friends (Hiccup, Elsa, Anna Merida) Rapunzel still walks around Burgess afraid. Rapunzel does the only thing to do. Leave. Leave her friends. Leave her loving boyfriend Jack. And Leave Burgess. Knowing that her friends and boyfriend can't come with her because they all have lives in Burgess. Rapunzel goes alone to New York City for a new life. But, what she will fall into in New York City is way worse than anything back at home with the comfort of Jack and her friends. And when Ryder finds her alone in the tower, the love story he once found might never have existed at all. As for Gothel, her path leads her to meet some people you might just have heard of...
