Nettle has always lived with humans. Even though she has a dark past with them, her new house folk are always kind and give her everything she needs. Still, despite her life of comfort, she is stalked and haunted by the elusive and dangerous Blood Warren, who Nettle thinks she is somehow associated with. 
Goldenpaw is a loyal GriffonClan apprentice. As far back as she can remember, all she's wanted is to prove herself to her Clan. However, as the war with PhoenixClan drags on and famine strikes, Goldenpaw is desperate to save her family, and soon sneaks out daily to find food from kindly Two-Legs. 
Both she-cats' are caught by surprise when they bump into each other in Two-leg Place, and Goldenpaw invites the promising young Nettle to spend a week in GriffonClan. Little do they know that their destinies will soon become entangled and their lives will change forever.All Rights Reserved
