"Welcome, welcome to the 74th Annual Hunger Games." The crowd goes wild, screaming at the top of their lungs and making sure everyone in Panem knew that they were the most excited. After all, everyone in District Two had been waiting for this day all year.
Everyone but Clove Tibunette.
Clove comes from a family of Victors and Past Tributes, and if it wasn't for her victory-crazed, blood thirsty mother, Clove would not be one of them.
It doesn't help her case that her District Partner happens to be a volunteer tribute, the most vicious kind.
When Clove starts to doubt her own abilities, everyone reassures her she was made for the games. She was bred to kill.
And that is what scares her most.
