The year is 3001 and the governments were forced to join in order to save anything left of the wretched human race. Colonel August Faller is sent to the seventh region in the W.L.N. (Worldwide Leadership Nation), And takes a squad of 12 to continue the fighting that had left General Thompson dead as well as 7 members of his team. Being sent out on the rescue mission, August's faces a fatal crash that leaves his with his right hand woman, and the 12th region's Captain's son, who just happened to be the newest recruit. How is he going to save an additional 4 people with only a recruit, a sassy lady, and himself?
(A/N; I apologize for any offense that may occur within the time span of the novel/book, I have done some research, and am sincerely sorry if the story happens to offend a veteran. )

"Well isn't this cute, weak little nothings like you, gathering together to try and stop a god?" "He's not unstoppable, he was defeated before, we'll do it again, humans have caught up, I suggest you put those two down, unless you want a demonstration." Timothy smirks, "But I want a demonstration!!" He laughs and squeezes, SupaSound's suit activates, forming around him as he launches forward on sound waves before concentrating a blast at Timothy's face. Timothy disappears, dropping the VP and his wife. Madison sprung into action, barely catching them. "They're still alive!" She yells. Then, a line appears, from the sky to the White House, a line so dark it rejects reality, and is rejected in turn, time-space begins to distort around it, the world bending. SupaSound charges forward, even though he won't make it, he has to. Finally, the black portal cracks open, and the world around him explodes in blinding red light, followed by a voice."Was that humanity's best? I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad..."Complete

It is the year 2134. America has healed from another Civil war. But America has lost. Now America is a country called Pem. In Pem, they speak Pemian. A language that is kind of like English except a tiny bit different. In Pem, it is kind of like America. Except for one big rule that is very scary for anyone. The rule is called "Eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." The rule allows anyone that saves a life to take a life. So, if you save someone then you can legally murder someone. So, doctors are the most feared and praised people in the world. Feared cause they save lives every day and then praised for the same reason. Jed Limestone is a normal everyday kid. Except this doctor named Doctor Brown has been saving his kills for years. He has now just retired at the age of 75 and some people say he is planning on killing many people. But Jed does not believe that. Until he is walking through a hospital and looks through Dr. Brown's office that Dr. Brown mistakingly left open. Jed looks at a board with tons of pictures on it. On the top, it says in big red letters "TARGETS." And he looks at the pictures again. And his face is the 5th picture. A strange-looking contraption is seen rapidly falling from the sky. Its descent was calculated and precise...until it wasn't. At the time of the bombs, twelve nations had operational space stations that they used to house survivors. Later, these twelve stations banded up and merged, becoming the one we now know as The Ark. For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk?
