Haven Woods had a plan, a to do list, an agenda, if you will. It started after the brutal murder of her parents that left her haunted and orphaned with a broken shifting gene. Never quite fitting into her own world, Haven distracted herself by striving towards two seemingly impossible goals. The first-- fixing her broken gene, the second-- finding the monster who killed her parents before the tenth anniversary of their death. 

That was the plan. So you can understand why meeting her mate at the annual Find was never quite an option.  

Forced to acknowledge the connection she has with Axel Mason, the Alpha of the most lethal, genius-- and sexist, if you asked her-- pack in North America, Haven must now figure out how to accept the one made for her without sacrificing the values she holds dear, while also finding the answers to the questions that have haunted her for years-- before it's too late.
