after the "destruction" society is re-building itself and in an attempt to gain money to neighbouring countries create a fake war in order to gain profit and a school is set up so as to turn children into killing machines to be used.
this story follows two students from very different backgrounds as they discover that a school that was meant to prepare them for the future is in fact preparing them for death.

March 2024 edit: I am not that proud of how the first few chapters turned out and I would prefer to rewrite them some time. They are not my *best* work, but they are not that bad. I just wish I could have improved them. - Only posted on Wattpad. The sequel to my Dog Man AU! Or.. prequel? No, just kidding. Parts of it just acts like one. - It's been 7½ years since the last story. Everything is going well, perfect, if you might say- Sid has finished college and is finally getting a career started, Sydney has a small job in mechanics and is now getting along with Zuzu, and Peter exists. But something's.. off. Not off, but.. off? It's everything that Sid's worked for, they deserve this, but.. it's just off. It doesn't help that it's back. The.. feeling. It's back. It's not good. It feels worse. It'll be okay. They can do this, Sid can do this. Everyone. Will be okay. -Complete

The year is 2040, and for the clones that were created during the brief run of a shady high tech company in the early 2020's, the time has come for them to become adults. Madelyn has been attending an all girls' boarding school with a large percentage of cloned girls for all of her academic life, and sees the changes in the girls as they approach graduation. Many of the clones were made from stolen DNA from supermodels, singers and actresses, and have almost no shot at a real future because of the sheltered way they were raised. They'd been isolated and completely dependent on the school and the families that ordered them as though they were nothing more than food on a menu. But not every clone is going down without a flight, as Madelyn finds out when she meets her new next door neighbor. This was written for the Open Novelle Contest 2023, Prompt 61: A new neighbor comes to town. Not a very social person, they hide out in their house every day, only leaving through tinted cars. Like a sunflower will she blossom to her full beauty or will she stay in her shell read to find out. The Academy
The Academy is a school for children with abilities. In it, kids and adults of all ages complete their schoolwork. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
