This is a repost of an already completed story I put up a while ago on fanfiction.net. Though it's finished, I'll be putting up the chapters in stages, both for my own convenience and for dramatic effect, what with cliffhangers and all. In terms of tone, I believe this story is close to, but slightly darker than, the original show. It is an AU fic beginning shortly after the Season 1 episode "Performance," so its continuity disregards the last two episodes of Season 1 and all of Season 2.

We'll only come up with social media accounts. It's useless." Robin said. Miss Martian ignored the black haired boy and looked up the name on Google.com . To say the least, they found more than just social media accounts. Articles upon articles on this girl having performed incredible feats- surviving kidnappings, gunfights, property destruction, evading the police, among other things. "I guess we'll start in Manhattan. That's apparently where she lived at the time of the earliest article." Artemis skimmed back through the first article on her phone. They had all taken to looking her up themselves since it was just that easy. "Sounds like a plan, but we shouldn't go quite yet. We need to be careful, so the League doesn't catch on." Robin said, to which they all nodded in agreement. They all retreated back into the mountain and went to either the Zeta tubes or their rooms, depending on where they resided. Before Smoky lived on the Nameless Street, P & his family moved there. His parents taught the kids of the street the values of family & survival until they suddenly passed. As a young kid growing up on the Street, P's sister knew them as well as any Rude Boy. One day while trying to help children escape a kidnapping she is taken instead. 5 years later, there's still no sign of her until P spots a girl at the Fight on the Container Street that looks like his sister. Only, this girl has no memory of him or the Rude Boys & further more claims to be Rocky's younger sister? Watching all seasons & movies will help you enjoy the story more as you'll be able to recognize more scenes not as elaborated on, characters, Easter eggs etc. especially in later chapters.
