Hi, my name is Lorelai. Right now I'm in trial for a crime I didn't commit. This all happened when I was 17. I was enjoying my winter break, just like every other teenager on a break from school, except the next thing I knew I was in a prison accused of brutally murdering my grandmother, who had always been the one I loved most. But now she's dead, and everybody's looking at me. Now I have to prove to the judge and jury that I'm innocent, and loved her to much to ever hurt her. To be honest, my chances are slim. The DA's have a mountain of evidence stacked, or at least they did. Somewhere along the line the DA's key piece of evidence was either lost or falsified (I'm not allowed to know which, because of legal reasons), and their key witness just left on a 3-week vacation to the Bahamas, but the trial goes on. I might actually have a chance to plead my case... You believe me, don't you?
