A twist on the tale of Rapunzel, in this case, Valerian, who makes the unlikely friend of Elfriede; a girl cursed to be a fox by day, a woman by night. Valerian is held prisoner by the witch, Theresia, in a tower deep in the woods where no man dare trod. Elfriede is trapped within a curse that causes her to take the form of a fox by day, and only her true self by night. Neither could begin to guess at their meeting, nor how important their meeting would become. Two prisoners, one tower, and a tale of two lives changing, for better or worse.
