"I seriously don't understand why you are still into this. It's been 3 years Manish,... c'mon, get over it." Sunil said and I increased the volume or the radio in an attempt to ignore him. However, that one word which he spelled irritated me, breaking down all of my self-control.
"It's NOT Manish! It's MAck. You know I don't like it when people call me Manish. It's a simple, short and clear 'MAck'. And no...I just can't get over it. No matter how hard I try...I CAN'T." I blasted out and turned towards the window to stare at the cars appearing to move behind due to Sunil's high speed.
"What if someone finds it out? We were able to hide that due to our separation after the school, but what if they figure it out now...? What if they find out the meaning of your name? The meaning of MAck. And more importantly, what if she finds it out? Won't it hurt...."
I cut him in the middle, "She won't. I won't...I won't let that happen. I won't let her know that ever again."
