"Stay away from me!" I yelled with fear as I back away from him. He stood there for a moment stunned by my sudden outburst but then it went away and his midnight blue eyes turned dark and cold. He said, "I need to talk to you and if you run I will punish you." I started to panic at what he meant by "punish". Was he going to kill me? Hurt me? Make it so I was never here? Those thoughts ran through my head but I didn't notice that he was only inches away from me. I turned to run but he grabbed me and pushed me against a tree. I stammered, "Stay away from me you..." I stopped myself from saying the rest of my statement trying not to say what he truly was. He said, "Look at me." I couldn't do it because of the fear. Then He commanded, "Look at Me!" I lifted my eyes to his and he whispered fiercely, "What am I?" I gulped and then whispered, "Werewolf."
Sammy Dawson just wanted to have peace and for people to leave her alone. So she moves away from her abusive parents and city life to live in a very small town out in the country.
