Elliot Alexander and Cate Hobbes have been inseparable since kindergarten. They do everything together. He's sensitive and keeps her focused. She's smart and keeps him laughing. And they both have one thing in common: a love for dance. When a dance competition is announced at school, Elliot and Cate are ecstatic. Using every spare hour after classes and on the weekends, they work on choreography to make the dance perfect. But will they be able focus on their moves, or will the stress of sophomore year and problems at home force them apart?

Lexi and Elliot don't necessarily like each other, but they can't seem to avoid each other. After getting paired together for a duet scene assignment, they are forced to spend more time together over the Christmas break. Their heads butt multiple times and both of them just wonder how they're going to be able to work together. The golden rule of theatre keeps them together: The show must go on. Maybe working together won't be the worst thing to happen to them.
