Stonepaw is a young, promising apprentice who never fails to impress his Clanmates. They are in awe of his unyielding strength, loyalty, and humility. He is sure to be a great warrior. But then a troubling dream causes him to leave behind his home, abandoning the Warrior Code in order to save the stars.
Darkpaw doesn't know where he fits in. Quiet and reserved, he begins his warrior training alongside his littermates and scrambles to impress his Clan. He feels deep down he is meant for something greater than the stars, but can't figure out what to do when he's trapped as a meager apprentice.
Snowpaw believes her destiny is to become a medicine cat, and under the mentoring of Jayfeather, she shows immense capabilities. Confident in her position, she begins receiving conflicting signs from StarClan, and struggles to interpret them. If she can't uncover their secret soon, the fate of the Clans might change forever.
