He heard footsteps coming to the direction of the doorstep of the room. The click of the soles resounding throughout the wooden floorboards of the apartment. The sound gets louder as the footsteps are getting nearer. Afterwards it stopped. Adrian looked at the door, expecting for it to open anytime but it took long before the doorknob was twisted. A young lady with an oversized wine red sweater, worn out denim jeans, and brown knee high boots went inside and looked at him with her sea green eyes that seems to see through the dark secrets of his soul. Her curly light blonde hair flows down on her chest as she took off her ponytail and removed the beret on her head.

"Hello."

Her lips moved and parted with ardor and her hypnotizing stare took his consciousness away.

His mind went blank.
