I ran away from my past demons, only to find new ones. 

Tired of my abusive mothers antics, I leave to find a live where I wasn't beaten for breathing slightly too loud. However, life away from my mother is not all I thought it would be cracked up to be. 

Drug, gangs and shootings are hard to not to succumb to and even harder to avoid and It's not long before I find myself catching the attention off of the very people you should hide from.

Sometimes in life, it would have been better to have stuck by the devil you know, rather than the one you don't.
